Mark turns 60!
Mark Archambo celebrated his sixtieth birthday on January 20th. Although he had mixed emotions about crossing this milestone birthday, he says that it “definitely beats the alternative.” Hoping to escape some of the birthday frenzy, he decided to celebrate his birthday out of town. However, he returned on January 21st to find his office decorated in black. The office also arranged for a birthday lunch, complete with driver and special ride, as you can see from the picture. Happy birthday Mark!

Salvation Army Kettle Drive
As is tradition, Archambo Financial and Archambo & Mueggenborg participated in the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive. Employees volunteered one entire day to ring the bell and work the kettles at Wal-Mart in Bartlesville. Together, the companies raised $915.18, earning 2nd place overall in Bartlesville. Below is picture of Aaron accepting the 2nd place plaque.

Double Whammy
Debbie Mueggenborg found out that she will be a grandma – twice over! Her son Greg and his wife, Shannon are expecting twins (a boy and a girl) in June.

Marathon Mark
After months of training, Mark Archambo completed his first marathon on October 12, 2008, just three months shy of his 60th birthday. Although he did not meet his goal time due to the heat conditions in Chicago, he is proud that of all the men in his age bracket from the state of Oklahoma, he finished in first place (also last place). He had no race plans in the immediate future, but is still an avid runner.
